Boeing Awarded $296M for Lot 2 Poseidon Plane Parts


Boeing Logo w-borderBoeing (NYSE: BA) has been awarded a $295, 643, 284 contract to start acquiring parts to produce 12 P-8A Poseidon planes for the U.S. Navy and Australia.

The advance acquisition contract includes $152, 043, 495 in purchases for the U.S. Navy and $143, 599, 789 in foreign military sales funds for sales to Australia, the Defense Department said Thursday.

This contract covers long-lead items for the second batch of Poseidons and covers work through April 2018.
