According to a Defense Security Cooperation Agency news release posted Thursday, the U.K. government seeks to acquire continued involvement in Boeing’s Globemaster III Sustainment Partnership program for the U.S. Air Force.
DSCA wants the contract to bolster the U.K. military’s deployment and power projection capabilities as well as interoperability with U.S. and NATO missions.
The U.K. currently has eight Globemaster III cargo aircraft in its fleet.
