Patrick Neary, Brett Amidon Promoted to Northrop Aerospace Systems VP Roles; Peggy Nelson Comments


northrop Grumman_BLUEPatrick Neary and Brett Amidon, both formerly directors at Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), have elevated to vice president ranks within the company’s aerospace systems sector.

Neary will serve as the sector’s VP of engineering for unmanned system programs and Amidon was appointed to a VP post in the sector’s engineering and global product development organization, Northrop said Monday.

“Pat and Brett will drive engineering execution and ensure innovative product technology development while focusing on first-time engineering quality and affordability, ” said Peggy Nelson, Northrop sector VP of engineering and global product development.

Neary, a 28-year company veteran, most recently directed the organization’s systems integration and testing work on unmanned and optionally-manned planes as well as managed spacecraft launch programs.

Amidon was director of technology and has also held positions in technical design, project planning, engineering analysis and project management during his 26-year career with Northrop.
