Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has purchased Deposition Sciences, a subsidiary of Advanced Lighting Technologies that manufactures optical thin film coatings for the defense and commercial industries.Investment banking firm Headwaters MB said Monday that it advised ADLT through the process and secured Lockheed as a buyer.
Lockheed plans to integrate DSI into the aeronautics business.
The parties did not disclose the terms of the acquisition.
