Wayne Prender, formerly program director for Textron‘s (NYSE: TXT) small/medium-endurance unmanned aircraft systems business, has been appointed ground control technologies vice president at the Textron Systems segment.
The company said Tuesday the seven-year Textron veteran will be in charge of its unmanned command-and-control systems, remote video terminals and other unmanned technology offerings.
Prender has worked with Defense Department laboratories as technology analysis team leader at TRSG before joining Textron.
He was also a U.S. Army officer and recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal and Bronze Star.
