Mark Gray, formerly a vice president and general manager at URS Corp. (NYSE: URS), has joined Beltsville, Md.-based government services contractor ASRC Federal as president and CEO.

ASRC Federal said Monday that it has also appointed former URS VP Greg Resutek to serve as chief operating officer and acting chief financial officer.

Rex Rock, Sr., president and CEO of parent company Arctic Slope Regional Corporation, said that ASRC made the appointments as it is “also pursuing opportunities for growth through mergers and acquisitions.”

Gray previously served as VP and GM of URS’ systems engineering and information solutions group, where the company says he led an operating group with 3, 000 employees and approximately $650 million in sales per year.

Resutek led business operations for URS’ federal systems division in his VP role and also oversaw pricing, financial planning and due diligence functions for acquisitions.
