Doug Lane, a 30-year consulting and information technology veteran, has joined Capgemini Government Solutions LLC as CEO.
Lane will report directly to Capgemini U.S. LLC CEO Tim Bridges and be responsible for the Capgemini subsidiary’s strategic direction and service delivery to federal, state and local government clients, Capgemini said Tuesday.
Bridges said Lane will work to assist Capgemini’s customers in migrating their operations to the digital platform by leveraging cloud, mobility, social and big data opportunities.
“Doug is a leader in government technology consulting across the federal, state and local levels, helping agencies and firms generate operational efficiencies with their IT management systems and services to increase business value, †added Bridges.
Lane most recently served as a lead partner at A.T. Kearney, with responsibility in business development and service delivery.
He also held the roles of IT executive for federal energy, transportation and environmental agencies, as well as a senior vice president role at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) after he served as a partner at IBM and PwC.
