Jack Bailey, a business and project development professional with more than 30 years of experience working with utilities, has joined NuScale Power as senior vice president for business development.
“We are delighted to have Jack onboard to add to our business development team as we continue to expand the global reach of the NuScale Power Module, “Â Mike McGough, NuScale’s chief commercial officer, Â said Wednesday.
Fluor Corp. (NYSE: FLR) is the majority investor in NuScale, which holds a contract with the Energy Department to develop nuclear small modular reactor technology.
Bailey previously led business development for Generation mPower‘s North American unit and held leadership positions in nuclear generation development, nuclear engineering, power resources and operational planning 
during his 15-year tenure at the Tennessee Valley Authority.
He has also worked with the Arizona Public Service,  Virginia Power Company and in the nuclear navy.
Bailey’s career also includes service in Nuclear Energy Institute working groups and on a North American Electric Reliability Corp. committee.
