Elbit Systems (NASDAQ: ESLT) will provide homeland security systems for command-and-control and intelligence applications to an unnamed Latin American country under a one-year, $133 million contract.
The company said Wednesday the systems are intended for use in crime fighting, violence prevention and safety and security operations.
“This award is another significant milestone for Elbit Systems in the HLS field, in which we are witnessing a growing demand worldwide, ” said Bezhalel (Butzi) Machlis, president and CEO of Elbit Systems.
