mobile-tablet-device-mobilityAgilex will use Calgary Scientific’s image viewer technology to develop a Web and mobile application image viewing system for the Department of Veterans Affairs to view medical data.

Agilex will combine the medical imaging system with Calgary Scientific’s ResolutionMD image viewer for VA clinicians to access to radiological images through mobile and desktop devices, Agilex said Wednesday.

Pierre Lemire, president and chief technology officer at Calgary Scientific, said the ResolutionMD-integrated technology works to help clinicians perform diagnosis and treatment processes and deliver patient care.

Users will have access to data visualization and workflow tools using mobile phones, tablets and desktops via the image viewing system.

Wyatt Smith, vice president of Agilex, added the company will apply mobile health technologies to the system in order to connect patients and healthcare services.

Calgary Scientific built ResolutionMD to work with VA’s VistA systems and mobile framework.
