Stuart Bradie Named KBR President and CEO; Loren Carroll Comments


kbr logoStuart Bradie, group managing director for operations and delivery at WorleyParsons, is set to join KBR (NYSE: KBR) as its new president and chief executive officer effective June 2, following William Utt’s retirement.

The engineering, construction and services firm said Wednesday Bradie will be based out of its global headquarters in Houston, Tx. and will also serve in the board of directors.

“A global search quickly focused on Stuart, whose leadership and business insight impressed the Board, ” said Loren Carroll, KBR’s chairman of the board.

A 25-year industry veteran, Bradie worked at PT Kvaerner Indonesia and Kvaerner Philippines as managing director and country manager, before starting at WorleyParsons in 2001 as managing director for operations in EMEA and Asia.

He graduated with a mechanical engineering degree from Aberdeen University and an M.B.A. from the Edinburgh Business School of Heriot Watt University.
