SOS Security Buys Marill Security Services; Edward Silverman Comments


acquisitionSOS Security LLC has acquired Marill Security Services, a commercial and residential protection services provider headquartered in Boca Raton, Fla.

Parsippany, N.J.-based SOS offers a range of asset protection, workforce safety and risk management services and intends to absorb Marill’s 400 licensed security professionals, SOS said Friday.

“Marill’s family-style approach to catering to their clients’ needs is consistent with SOS’s philosophy, ” said Edward Silverman, SOS chairman and CEO.

Founded in 1969, SOS contracts out integrated security work globally through regional joint ventures.

The company works with the U.S. embassy and consular offices in Brazil, as well as Fortune 100 firms throughout Latin America.
