The company said Thursday the contract to support at least 200 F405 engines is a follow-on to the company’s ongoing support of the Navy’s training crew.
“We have been working with the US Navy’s F405 fleet for a decade and we appreciate their continued confidence in our service capabilities, ” said Paul Craig, Rolls-Royce’s president for defense services.
The contract covers aircraft that operate out of Naval Air Stations in Kingsville, Texas; Meridian, Miss.; Pensacola, Fla.; and Patuxent River, Md.
