Jerry Calhoun, formerly senior vice president of human resources at PAE, has been appointed SVP of human capital at The SI Organization, he confirmed to GovCon Wire.
Prior to PAE, Calhoun was SVP of HR at Vangent,  which was comprised of 7, 000 employees and $750 million in revenue.
He also served as chief operating officer at two other companies earlier during his career.
The 35-year government and industry veteran told GovCon Wire he joined The SI in part because he believes the company is well-placed to significantly expand its market presence.
“I am looking forward to working with The SI leadership team and creating a high performing Human Capital Business Partnership, ” Calhoun added.
Calhoun has previously served as director with both the U. S. Department of Labor and Defense and has twice been chair of the HR Executive Leadership Council.
He holds both a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree from the University of New York at Albany.
