Langley Proctor Named Savage IO Sales Team Director

LangleyLangley Proctor, formerly director of business development and sales at Cisco Systems (NASDAQ: CSCO), has joined Savage IO as sales director for the data center technology provider.

The two-decade industry veteran aims to help the company grow its converged enterprise storage portfolio and partnerships with software application vendors, Savage IO said Wednesday.

Proctor most recently led Cisco sales and BD initiatives designed to expand the firm’s integrated offerings with software developers, including Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) and NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP).

He also served as director of EMC‘s (NYSE: EMC) emerging technologies center and was responsible for product sales and marketing programs in that position.

Veteran-owned Savage IO manufactures enterprise-grade servers for customers to address storage management, performance and capacity issues.
