John Gully: SAIC Grows Army HR IT Services With $221M Task Order

SAIC logoScience Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has won a potential three-year, $221 million task order to help the U.S. Army Human Resources Command run its information technology setup for personnel management.

SAIC will work to maintain and develop programs, applications and databases used by the Army to manage human resources, as well as to integrate military systems, the company said Monday.

John Gully, senior vice president and general manager of SAIC’s Army and Air Force Customer Group, said SAIC intends to help the Army meet requirements by continuing and extending the company’s IT services for the command’s HR program.

The company’s services are for the Army Human Resources Command, Army Recruiting Command, Army Cadet Command and Army Reserve and National Guard soldiers.

SAIC will perform work at its Fort Knox, Ky.-based facility under the single award contract, which contains a one-year base period and two one-year options.
