The joint venture will work to elevate three roads in Dubai, relocate utilities and build the 1.73-mile long Dubai water canal, Parsons said Wednesday.
âOnce completed, the Dubai water canal project will add (3.72 miles) to the Dubai waterfront and will attract many visitors, â said Guy Mehula, Parsons Middle East Africa region president.
Parsons will supervise construction of roads and bridges, while Halcrow will manage the canal excavation and marine works under the three-project contract.
The venture previously designed the project under a contract awarded in December 2006.
