Al Pisani, formerly senior vice president of TASC‘s intelligence group, has joined Serco Group‘s North American subsidiary — Serco Inc. — as senior vice president of corporate development.

Pisani will be responsible for corporate development, strategy planning, mergers and acquisitions, program management centers of excellence and customer satisfaction activities, Serco said Wednesday.

Dan Allen, Serco Inc. chairman and CEO, said Pisani joins the company as it aims to strengthen its position in the marketplace.

Prior to TASC, Pisani served as VP of business development at Northrop Grumman‘s civil services division and also worked in the company’s homeland security program management office.

The 30-year government contracting veteran was also VP and director of Northrop’s mission applications operating unit earlier in his career.

While at Northrop, Pisani carried out marketing plans to grow the company’s presence in the federal civil, state and local government markets.

He also led the company’s work in mission engineering, integration and tactical operations for intelligence agencies.
