Jonathan Carver, formerly chief financial officer and associate administrator for performance management at the Small Business Administration, has joined analytics-advisory firm Summit LLC as financial services director.
Carver will work with Summit’s financial services team to help federal and state agencies, philanthropies and financial intermediaries manage capital deployment programs, Summit said Tuesday.
He was most recently responsible for SBA’s budget, financial reporting systems and performance initiatives.
His time at SBA also includes service as performance improvement officer and chief acquisition officer.
The 18-year public sector veteran also helped the SBA achieve the Association of Government Accountants’ Certificate of Excellence in Accountability Reporting over the past four fiscal years, Summit says.
He is as a member of the U.S. Chief Financial Officers Council, the U.S. Chief Acquisition Officers Council and the Performance Improvement Council.
