Michael Locatis, Randy Phillips, Michael Shank Join Chertoff Group as Senior Advisors; Michael Chertoff Comments

Chertoff Group logo Executive MosaicMichael Locatis, Randy Phillips and Michael Shank have joined security and risk management advisory firm Chertoff Group as senior advisors.

The three new advisors will work with the company’s professional team focusing on cybersecurity, information technology, intelligence and business development, Chertoff Group said Wednesday.

Michael Chertoff, chairman of Chertoff Group, said the company’s advisory team aims to help customers address security environment demands by identifying issues and opportunities.

Locatis, a cybersecurity and broadband veteran, most recently served as assistant secretary for cybsersecurity and communications at the Homeland Security Department and previously as the Energy Department’s chief information officer, California deputy CIO and Colorado CIO.

Phillips most recently held the role as senior vice president for corporate development and strategy officer at TASC after serving as VP for corporate development and chief development and strategy officer at CSC (NYSE: CSC).

Shank was the first representative of the National Security Agency/Central Security Service to U.S. Cyber Command where he contributed technical insights.

He most recently served as staff director for the U.S. House of Representatives’ Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
