Leidos to Design, Engineer Calif Natl Guard Bases Under $80M IDIQ; James Moos Comments

LeidosLogoLeidos (NYSE: LDOS) has won a position on a potential $80 million contract to design and engineer construction projects at military bases for the California Army and Air National Guard.

The contract covers multi-disciplinary investigation, engineering and inspection and architectural design processes to build and repair multi-purpose military facilities in the state,  Leidos said Thursday.

“We’ve had an outstanding working relationship with the California National Guard for the last seven years, and we look forward to continuing that relationship and supporting the CAARNG/CAANG by providing architectural and engineering solutions that are right for today and years down the line, ” said James Moos, engineering group president at Leidos.

CAARNG/CAANG supports civilian authorities during local emergencies and serves in contingency operations abroad.

The multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract contains one base year and four option years.
