Dennis Lester, formerly a program manager at Modern Technology Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ: MTSI), has been appointed director of Guardtime keyless signature infrastructure training and education.
Lester will oversee professional training programs on the provision and deployment of KSI technology for defense and intelligence customers through a partnership between MTSI and Guardtime, MTSI said Thursday.
He will also work to develop courses covering KSI topics such as threat detection and cloud data integrity monitoring.
Previously, he held project management roles at Scientific Research Corp. and Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.
Lester has also taught aerodynamics, team dynamics, computer simulation and strategic management.
His public sector career includes service as a Pentagon information technology program manager and an Air Force commander, flight examiner, instructor pilot and simulation development manager.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical technology from Arizona State University, an M.B.A. from Phillips University and a doctorate in instructional technology and organizational learning from the University of New Mexico.
