Paul Gentile Joins ManTech as Cyber Solutions SVP; Bill Varner Comments

Paul Gentile, formerly a senior vice president at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAI), has joined ManTech International (NASDAQ: MANT) as SVP of the company’s cyber solutions business unit.

That unit is part of ManTech’s mission, cyber and intelligence solutions business group and Gentile will work to grow the company’s cyber services and support portfolio for intelligence and other federal agencies, ManTech said Tuesday.

The MCIS group also recently promoted Chris Goodrich to executive VP and chief operating officer (click here to read our previous coverage).

Gentile helped lead SAIC’s integrated systems group as SVP and deputy business unit general manager and oversaw a team of 3, 400 employees in his most recent role there.

Bill Varner, president of ManTech’s MCIS group, said Gentile brings knowledge of the cyber mission and related technologies to his new role at ManTech.

“Paul has a long and successful history of support to the intelligence community, along with industry and government experience, ” Varner said.

Gentile held leadership roles at Raytheon (RTN), a company he joined in August 1984, before joining SAIC.

His most recent role at Raytheon was VP of technical services, where he was responsible for sales engineers, security consultants, training, customer support and information technology.
