CCSi and SyntheSys will help the VA install the web-based Emergency Department Integration Software as an extension to a computerized patient record system that works to manage care in emergency departments.

The VA has also acquired a bed management system and a commercial-off-the-shelf variant of a surgical scheduling and patient tracking software.
