Leidos Wins $442M to Help Maintain TSA Security Equipment; Larry Hill Comments

LeidosLogoLeidos (NYSE: LDOS) has won a potential $442 million contract to help the Transportation Security Administration maintain passenger security equipment.

The company will manage and sustain more than 11, 250 government transportation security tools under TSA’s Integrated Logistics Support program, Leidos said Tuesday.

Larry Hill, Leidos group general manager, said the company intends for the logistics services to help TSA secure the country’s homeland and transportation infrastructure.

Leidos will perform work at nearly 448 airports and other government sites across the U.S.

Work will include maintenance, integrated logistics support, information technology support, TSA Service Response Center management and Security Technology Integrated Program support services.

The single-award, fixed price contract also contains four base months and four one-year options that could bring the contract to its full ceiling value.
