Jacobs to Continue Air Force Info Security, Engineering Services

JACOBS logo_GovConWireA Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC) subsidiary has been awarded a $12, 800, 149 contract modification to continue providing engineering and information security services to the U.S. Air Force.

The cost-plus-fixed-fee modification covers services to Defense Department agencies, military service branches and foreign military sales customers, the Pentagon said Friday.

Jacobs Technology will work to build, test, field and sustain cryptographic and information asussurance systems and also support the Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System program.

Work will occur in Lincoln, Mass. through May 19, 2014 and the Air Force is obligating $2, 342, 754 in both fiscal year 2013 and 2014 funding at the time of award.
