DISA Extends $427M Cloud Storage Contract Proposal Due Date

datacenterThe Defense Information Systems Agency has pushed back again the deadline on bids for a potential $427 million commercial cloud storage services contract, FCW reported Wednesday.

Frank Konkel writes industry proposals for the Enterprise Storage Service II contract are now due Nov. 19, following a one-week deadline extension in October.

DISA has updated its solicitation six times since publishing the original notice on Sept. 19 to address questions from interested parties, according to the report.

Konkel writes a selected vendor would build a storage platform for managing classified and unclassified information at data centers owned or managed by the agency.
