Boeing Awarded $325M for Missile Defense Engineering

Boeing Logo w-borderBoeing (NYSE: BA) has been awarded a $325 million contract for systems engineering and integration work for the Missile Defense Agency over the next five years.

MDA intends for Boeing to help fulfill “diverse and highly complex” requirements for the country’s Ballistic Missile Defense System, the Defense Department said Friday.

The agency is obligating $8, 536, 469 in fiscal year 2014 research, development, test and evaluation incremental funds at the time of award.
