TAPE Purchases Training Services Firm Strong Point Research; Louisa Jaffe Comments

Tape LogoTechnical and Project Engineering LLC has bought Orlando, Fla.-based Strong Point Research, a provider of modeling, simulation and training services to government customers.

Strong Point President Mary Steer has joined TAPE as vice president of training, modeling, and simulation and will report to Bill Jaffe,  TAPE executive VP and general manager, TAPE said Monday.

Altus Associates advised TAPE on its acquisition of Strong Point, which will become a division of TAPE and has 20 employees.

Louisa Jaffe, TAPE CEO and president, said the company made the acquisition to align its strategies and expand its training services for customers.

TAPE plans to integrate Strong Point’s applications and engineering services into the company’s management, professional and technical services.

Strong Point has provided training, modeling and simulation services to the U.S. Army‘s program executive office for simulation, training and instrumentation systems engineering and technical assistance over the past seven years.
