Northrop Wins $114M for 3 Air Force Global Hawks

northrop Grumman_BLUENorthrop Grumman has won a $114 million contract to provide three unmanned aerial vehicles and related components to the U.S. Air Force, Reuters reported Friday.

The company will purchase materials and gears for airborne command and control systems to produce the Global Hawk Block-30 units.

Congress told the Air Force to purchase the Global Hawks it originally planned to buy after the branch decided not to go through with the acquisition, according to the report.
