DynCorp Wins War Reserve Materiel Asset Contract’s Fifth Year; George Krivo Comments

DyncorpLogoDynCorp International has won the fifth option year out out of eight under a potential $540.7 million contract with the U.S. Air Force to help manage assets in the U.S. and Middle East.

War Reserve Materiel assets comprise of expeditionary airfield resources, aerospace ground equipment, air base operability equipment, mobility readiness spares packages and peacetime operating stocks, DynCorp said Monday.

The company will be responsible for the receipt, inventory, accountability, maintenance, repair, inspection, serviceability, marking, storage, security, shipping and reporting of WRM resources.

“DI has been supporting WRM assets in the U.S. and Middle East since 2000, ” said George Krivo, senior vice president of the DynLogistics organization.

“We truly value the relationship we have developed with the Air Force in supporting this program, ” Krivo added.

The Air Force awarded the firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-award-fee and cost reimbursable contract to DynCorp in 2008.
