CACI International (NYSE: CACI) has won a $22 million prime contract to work with the Defense Department on developing and engineering systems that are built to generate mobile electric power.
The company aims to help meet demand for new energy sources as warfighting equipment and other technologies have evolved over time, CACI said Tuesday.
Ken Asbury, CACI president and CEO, said the Mobile Electric Power contract is part of the company’s work in the integrated security solutions market.
DoD and CACI will work together on engineering, manufacturing, and production development decisions behind the department’s tactical electric power strategy.
