SRA Wins $65M DHS Tech R&D BPA

SRA logoSRA International has won a five-year,  $65 million blanket purchase agreement to help the Department of Homeland Security research and develop technologies.

The company will work with DHS’ transportation security laboratory, which is responsible for managing work to research and develop technologies and certify new products based on the Transportation Security Administration‘s standards, SRA said Wednesday.

TSA uses the laboratory’s work as part of its plans to acquire and deploy new technologies at airports nationwide.

SRA will perform R&D work on new technologies and products that are intended for detection, mitigation and vulnerability assessments.

DHS selected SRA late last year for a potential $11 billion contract vehicle covering acquisition and business support services.
