Nancy Laben Named Booz Allen EVP, General Counsel

NancyLabenNancy Laben, formerly general counsel at engineering and design company AECOM Technologies, has joined Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) as executive vice president and general counsel.

She will officially succeed the retiring Robert Osborne on Sept. 30 and also will serve on the firm’s executive management committee, Booz Allen said Wednesday.

Laben will lead the firm’s law department and oversee functions such as corporate governance, government contract law, employment law, securities law and investigations.

While at AECOM Technologies, she led a team of 55 attorneys and also worked with contract advisers and outside counsel.

Prior to that, she served as deputy general counsel at Accenture (NYSE: ACN) and worked in IBM‘s (NYSE: IBM) law department before joining Accenture.
