L-3 Wins $357M to Update Army Reserve, Natl Guard IT System; Les Rose Comments

L3 logoAn L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) business unit has won a $357 million task order from the General Services Administration to help update an information technology system used by two U.S. military components.

L-3 National Security Solutions will develop and integrate IT resources and software for a virtual platform used by the Army Reserve and National Guard, L-3 said Thursday.

Work expected to be completed by 2018 is underway at a facility in Reston, VA.

Les Rose, NSS group president, said the company will work to help the Army Reserve and National Guard continue operations and use new software.

GSA awarded the task order was awarded under the Alliant contract vehicle.
