Jo Decker Named General Dynamics IT Navy, Marine Corps Accounts VP

General Dynamics Information Technology - ExecutiveMosaicJo Decker, a former acting Navy principal deputy assistant secretary,  has joined General Dynamics Information Technology (NYSE: GD) as vice president of Navy and Marine Corps accounts.

The 30-year naval management veteran will work to develop strategies for the business unit’s Navy and Marine Corps portfolio, General Dynamics said Monday.

Decker most recently served as acting Navy principal deputy assistant secretary for financial management and comptroller, where she led accounting, finance operations and programs.

She has also served as assistant deputy chief of naval operations for shore activities, fleet readiness and logistics.

In that role, she worked with the chief of naval operations to utilize resources for operating forces and shore activities.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from Troy State University and took postgraduate courses at the University of Southern California and University of West Florida.
