Navy Picks Six for Potential $204M Construction IDIQ

NavyConstructionThe U.S. Navy has selected six contractors to compete for task orders to perform construction work under a potential $240 million contract.

Fifty-one proposals were submitted to the Navy for the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via the branch’s electronic commerce website, the Defense Department said Thursday.

Work will take place in Georgia and South Carolina, which fall within the Naval Facilities Engineering Command’s Southeast area of responsibility.

Awardees listed in the Pentagon’s notice include:

  • Brady-Fluor LLC
  • Drace Anderson Joint Venture
  • GFP-Yates Joint Venture
  • Group III Mgt Inc.
  • Leebcor Services LLC
  • Old Veteran Construction Inc.

Brady-Fluor LLC has won the contract’s first order, worth $9, 817, 578, to build a ground maintenance shop at Marine Corps Air Station Beufort, S.C. and the Pentagon expects work to finish by August 2014.

Each contract contains a base period and three option years.
