Jill Tummler Singer, formerly the National Reconnaissance Office’s chief information officer, has joined Deep Water Point LLC as a partner.

Singer will leverage her 27 years of service in the government and private sectors and work with customers in pursuing contracts with the intelligence community, Deep Water Point said Thursday.

Howard Seeger, managing partner at Deep Water Point, said Singer will aim to help the company’s intelligence and defense technology clients develop capabilities for growth.

She most recently held responsibilities in information technology management, information assurance and information management at NRO, one of 16 intelligence agencies in the U.S.

Prior to joining the agency, Singer was a deputy CIO at the Central Intelligence Agency.

Singer also served as director of the State Department’s Diplomatic Telecommunications Service, as well as CIA’s systems engineering, architecture, and planning lead.

In the private sector, she worked with SAIC, GE Aerospace and IBM.
