Pat Brosey, Noblis vice president of business development and marketing, said Marqusee joins the organization as it aims to expand its work with federal clients.

Brosey added Noblis works with agencies such as Defense Department and General Services Administration on projects such as infrastructure, enterprise engineering and sustainability areas.

While at the Pentagon, Marqusee served as executive director of OSD’s Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program and as director of the office’s Environmental Security Technology Certification Program.

In those roles, Marquesee managed a $140 million annual budget for environmental, energy science and technology programs.

He said he joined Noblis to help the government and country respond to environmental and energy challenges by using scientific research.

Marquesee also advised the secretary on environment and energy science and technology issues facing the Defense Department’s installations.
