General Atomics Aeronautical Systems has won a potential $156, 370, 264 contract modification from the U.S. Army for engineering services on the branch’s fleet of Gray Eagle unmanned aircraft.
The Army awarded the modification on a cost-plus-fixed-fee, option-eligible, non-multi-year basis, the Defense Department said Friday.
Work will occur at Poway, Calif. and the Army is allocating fiscal year 2013 other funding for the award.
GA-ASI also holds a $354, 683, 431 contract to help sustain the Army’s Gray Eagles in Afghanistan under both operations and maintenance and other procurement funds.
