Paul Lemmo Promoted to Lockheed SVP Role, Patrick Dewar to Lead New Intl Org; Marillyn Hewson Comments

Paul Lemmo, formerly a vice president in Lockheed Martin‘s (NYSE: LMT) information systems and global solutions business, has been promoted to senior vice president of corporate strategy and business development.

The 25-year defense industry veteran will lead a business organization comprising of offices in 25 U.S. cities and 25 countries, Lockheed said Monday.

“Paul is a seasoned executive with deep knowledge of the industry and more than 25-years of engineering, project management and business development experience, ” said Marillyn Hewson, Lockheed president and CEO.

Lemmo will also oversee global strategies and new business capture in his new position and succeeds Patrick Dewar, now executive vice president of the new Lockheed Martin International organization.

Dewar will lead a new organization responsible for international customer relationships and industrial partnerships, as well as growing the company’s global business.

Lemmo most recently served as VP of business development and strategy in the IS&GS business and led organizations responsible for identifying and capturing new business and developing long-term plans.

Prior to that, he led business development for the former mission systems and sensors business and has held other engineering and business development leadership positions since joining the company in 1989.
