ManTech International (NASDAQ: MANT) has won a potential $16 million contract to operate an information technology services desk and provide IT services for the Justice Department.

The time-and-materials contract includes one base year and four option years, ManTech said Wednesday.

Bill Varner, president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s mission, cyber and intelligence solutions group, said the company will work to help DOJ’s civil division run its enterprise IT systems.

“ManTech has a long history of providing successful support to the Department of Justice, ” Varner said. “We look forward to supporting the Civil Division’s critical systems and delivering the next generation enterprise IT system and services.”

ManTech will also provide software development, training and administration support to the division.

The civil division represents the federal government, members of Congress, Cabinet officers and other federal employees in civil or criminal matters.
