David Rowland Starts as Accenture’s CFO, Richard Clark Named Chief Accounting Officer

David Rowland, formerly senior vice president for finance at Accenture (NYSE: ACN), has started his tenure as the company’s new chief financial officer.

Rowland reports to Chairman and CEO Pierre Nanterme and succeeds Pamela Craig, who is slated to retire from the company on Aug. 31, Accenture said Monday.

Accenture has also appointed Richard Clark, current corporate controller,  as the new chief accounting officer.

That appointment takes effect Sept. 1. and Clark will succeed Anthony Coughlan, who will move to manage the company’s finance efforts.

Clark, a 30-year Accenture veteran, serves on the global management committee and previously led the company’s finance operations, which comprise of nearly 3, 500 professionals.

Both Clark and Coughlan will report to Rowland.
