ASRC Federal Wins $475M for NASA Engineering Services

ASRC logo_EbizASRC Federal‘s space and defense division has won a $475 million contract to provide electrical systems engineering services to NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center.

Under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, ASRC Federal will design, develop, integrate, assess and operate space, airborne and ground system hardware and software, NASA said Wednesday.

The contract includes a 30-day phase-in period with five-year ordering period and ASRC Federal will perform the work in Greenbelt, Md. and other NASA sites.

The support services cover Goddard’s Applied Engineering and Technology Directorate’s several divisions including electrical engineering, instrument systems and technology, software engineering, mechanical systems and mission engineering and systems analysis.

The company will also develop and validate fresh technologies intended to work with future space and science operations, NASA said.
