The U.S. Army has awarded a potential $494 million contract to six companies for information technology hardware, software and integration services.
Eighteen bids were submitted to the Army through the Internet for the Information Technology Enterprise Solution-2 vehicle, the Defense Department said Friday.
Contracts will compete for task orders under the firm-fixed-price, multiple-award, task-order vehicle and the Army will determine work location and funding with each order.
Awardees include:
- CDW Government
- Dell
- IBM
- Iron Bow Technologies
- Unicom
- World Wide Technology Inc.
