John Thomas Named Leidos Strategic Development EVP; Stu Shea Comments

John Thomas - SAIC, ExecutiveMosaic

Thomas will oversee strategy, mergers and acquisitions, communications and government and legislative affairs at Leidos after SAIC splits into two independent companies, SAIC said Wednesday.

Stu Shea, SAIC’s current and Leidos’ future chief operating officer, said Thomas will aim to create business strategies, identify acquisition opportunities and manage company-wide strategic initiatives.

Lou Von Thaer serves as president of the national security sector as of June 6 and that sector will be part of Leidos.

Thomas previously served as senior VP and general manager of the intelligence systems business unit before leading the national security sector.
