SAIC Wins $380M Option on DLA Supplies IDIQ

SAIC-LogoScience Application International Corp. (NYSE: SAI) has won a $380, 962, 639 contract modification from the Defense Logistics Agency to continue providing operations supplies to military branches and civilian agencies.

The modification exercising the eighth option year of a firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Defense Department said Wednesday.

SAIC will also help maintain and repair the supplies intended for the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies.

Work during this option year will occur in New Jersey through May 18, 2014 and DLA is allocating fiscal 2013 defense working capital funds for the option.

DLA’s troop support office in Philadelphia is the contracting activity.
