The U.S. Army is preparing a potential $2.5 billion multiple-award contract for a construction project on the east campus of Fort Meade, Md., the Washington Business Journal reported Thursday.
Jill Aitoro writes that the Army could issue a request for proposals during the winter and that work will also include electrical and mechanical services.
Kevin Plexico, Deltek vice president of information solutions, told a Federal Outlook audience conference Thursday task orders will likely cover office and road construction and maintenance support services for routine facilities, Aitoro reports.
Citing a project synopsis, Aitoro reports work could include special facilities that are generally secured from physical and digital access.
