Alain Bouchard, Julie Godkin, Joakim Westh Named to CGI Board

CGI-logoAlain Bouchard, Julie Godkin and Joakim Westh have been appointed to the board of directors at CGI Group (NYSE: GIB), pending final approval by shareholders.

Shareholders will vote on the prospective board members at the company’s annual general meeting in early 2014, CGI said Tuesday.

Bouchard currently serves as president and CEO of convenience store chain Alimentation Couche-Tard, Godin serves as CGI’s executive vice president of global human resources and strategic planning and Westh is a former senior VP at Ericsson.

Serge Godin, CGI co-founder and executive chairman, said the new board members bring knowledge of international markets and experience in running global businesses to the company.

The three appointees will succeed Claude Bolvin, Eileen Mercier and former CGI U.S. Operations President Donna Morea, keeping the number of CGI directors at 14.
