ManTech International Corp. (NASDAQ: MANT) has won a potential $96 million blanket purchase agreement to help U.S. Customs and Border Protection train law enforcement officers

The potential four-year BPA includes one base year with four option years and the company won the work through its General Services Administration Schedule contract, ManTech said Thursday.

ManTech will train CBP personnel on how to use information technology systems, wireless and voice communications equipment and enforcement technology.

“The CBP is the largest law enforcement organization in the nation; entrusted with the comprehensive operation, maintenance, and security of our borders, ” said Daniel Keefe, president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s technical services group.

Federal, state and local law enforcement agencies are also covered under the BPA.

ManTech will also instruct officers on how to operate radiation equipment, handheld inspection equipment and other types of scale products.

“Effective training on the information systems and equipment used to conduct the CBP’s mission is crucial, and ManTech is proud to be selected to support this important effort, ” Keefe said.
